WHEN IS THE BIG GAME SEASON?
From March to November you can hunt red stag, blackbuck, buffalo, multihorned ram, axis deer, fallow deer, mouflon and wild boar.

WHERE DO RED DEERS LIVE?
El Oasis and La Tranquila have over 2,500 acres of alfalfa and corn sown lands, and females live nearby. So we can say that these lands have turned into their habitat since they have their deer babies and reproduce there.

HOW DO WE MOVE INSIDE THE COUNTRY?
Visitors arrive at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires. There are regular flights from Buenos Aires to Santa Rosa, capital city of La Pampa (350 miles), which last one hour and a half, and the last drive to El Oasis is made by 4×4 pickups and takes about two hours.

HOW IS THE GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE OF THE PLACE?
March, April and, May are warm months with temperatures between 50 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (10 and 25 degrees Celsius). As there are high dunes and a lot of trees, we recommend to wear comfortable shoes, high-heeled if possible, such as leather ankle boots, rubber boots or gaiters. At night, temperature turns much colder, so we recommend to bring warm clothing.

WHICH DOCUMENTS DO I NEED FOR HUNTING?
Hunters must have their passport in full force and effect as well as the authorization for the temporary import of hunting weapons in Argentina. To obtain such authorization, refer to the nearest Argentine Consulate with: passport, hunting permit and weapon-related data (should you need further information, do not hesitate to contact us.)

NON-HUNTING COMPANIONS.
If hunters want to be accompanied by persons who do not practice this sport, they can do it, since they may spend beautiful days, going on outings, experiencing the gauchos’ daily work, doing typical tasks, visiting museums, among other things.

WHICH TYPES OF WEAPONS MUST BE USED?
It is recommended to use one’s own weapon. In case of rent it, will be done with third parts. North Patagonia Ranch do not take responsibility for that reason. For the red deer and other plain species, we recommend to use a rifle with telescope and a good scope; 300WM, 7mm R, 30-06 SPR medium-bore rifle cartridges are also suggested.

WHICH IS THE NATIONAL CURRENCY?
The Argentine peso. (THE EXCHANGE ADJUSTS TO NATIONAL ECONOMIC CHANGES.)

ARGENTINE POLICY
The country is ruled by a democratic policy since 1983.

WHICH VACCINES ARE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE COUNTRY?
None. In the country there are not sources of malaria, yellow fever, cholera.
